Just a few pics from my phone this morning. It’s hard to believe that a place exceptionally dry and crunchy in the summer can be this beautiful in the spring time. Our lease is blanketed with these flowers/weeds.

Beautiful. The purple flowers look like "erodium cicutarium" or "filaree", also called "storksbill". Great deer food. We have a lot at our place. Yours looks fantastic. Gonna' be a great spring for giving the deer plenty to eat.

Pretty and lots of good food for the deer coming out of winter. Hopefully you will have a great fawn crop this year.

Yes, the springtime landscape in virtually all of Texas is spectacular and a 'time of plenty', its later on (summertime) that things will change in many locales.

Great photos.
