Walking around hunting turkeys this morning and someone was hog hunting from a helicopter on a neighboring property. I have to say I kept my eyes to the sky hoping the pilot didn’t inadvertently fly over our lease. Anyone here with insight know how these companies keep track of where they have permission to hunt while they’re in the air?

The same way you do on the ground... GPS/Map.

I would think it is a bit late to be hunting by helo's, too much green vegetation on the trees. Around my neck of the woods mid march is about the latest they will hunt.
