Picked up a Bear Grylls knife in a local pawnshop for $20 made by Gerber. Was it worth the money?

The earlier models were not full tang and are prone to fail during heavy use. The full tang ones are better.

Meh, that’s about what they sold for new. Not a great deal, but ok.
I have a Bear Grylls parang machete that I really like. Holds and good edge and is a great chopper!
