Forgot my boots one time. Just once. Only make that mistake once. Had to borrow some boots from the ranch manager. Don't know what it was, but they fit just bad enough to take my socks off as I'd walk. I had to walk about 400 yds to get to my stand and every 75 yds my socks were pulled off my feet. Stop and pull em back on. Then i had to worry about athletes feet.

Does my wife's birthday count?

I was hunting on her birthday, which she had assured me would not be a big deal (right), but I had flowers delivered and fully planned to call. One of the other hunters lost a deer that evening and we were in search mode 'til late, then had a few cocktails and dinner. I woke up to hunt the next morning and realized the error of my ways...called later that morning and got a bit of cold shoulder. It has been nearly 20 years and I have not made that mistake again - yet.

I thought I left my sleeping bag at the THF brokeback goose hunt in January. Found it last month behind the back seat in my truck...

I did forget my lantern though. grin

I still have it...it was in my truck when I last saw you and I saw it half way home...I didn’t turn around rofl

That's funny...

Left my shotguns once, many years ago and yes, we had to go back and get them. Lost about 60 miles.

I have a hunting checklist on my iPhone now. My memory is worse but the list never fails.

I had a hot job going at work one Friday night and forgot my dog food. I got home a few hours before I needed to leave to go hunting. When I got In I loaded everything in the truck but the dogs. Woke up a couple hours later and left. It was embarrassing but luckily my buddy’s had plenty of feed. It’s good to have great pals.

Once or twice in the last couple of deer seasons, I've put on the pack, got my walking staff and start heading away from the Bronco. 'Notice how light I feel, then it hits me - the rifle's in the Bronco. Haven't made it 100 yards yet though before I realize.

Proud to say I forgot about my ex wife and all the junk before and after her. The junk being worthless females.

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

Team manager forgot our uniforms at a basketball game once, had to use the sweaty JV ones....still laughed at class reunions. And he still denies it was his fault...55 years later.

Drove out to a friends place to dove hunt, grabbed the shell bag that had 3 boxes of shells. Forgot to make sure it was the bag with 20ga shells as that is the gun I took that weekend. Got there and had 20ga gun and 12ga shells. Oh well, had the truck gun (rifle) with me so hog hunted instead and killed 2 good eating size hogs that morning. Got ore meat than all the dove hunters combined

On a hunt with one of my long time duck hunting buddies. After unloading the boat, driving all the way across a lake, dropping him off with gear and decoys, then moving boat, walking to blind to help him finish with decoys, and sitting down 5 minutes before legal shooting time. Friend looks at me and asks "where is my shotgun?". Me "how would I know". It was not in the boat so we ran back to the ramp asap. It was still laying on the downed tailgate in the middle of the parking lot.

Boom. Exactly. ALWAYS forget my darn pillow.
