Dawsons Family Restaurant is my go-to when in Childress, if they are closed then I hit The Plaza Mexican Restaurant.

May be a little late but theres a mexican place south of the courthouse a couple streets off the highway, think it may have opened not too long ago (searched for the name but couldnt find it)...one of the best burrito's I've ever had!! We ate there for golf tournament this past year!
