Just saw this on a vendor website, I was surprised.... "On Friday, March 29, 2019, a Federal Court reviewed California Penal Code 32310, which barred the possession and sale of high capacity magazines, and determined the law to be unconstitutional. As a result, beginning immediately, customers in the state of California may purchase high capacity magazines that are greater than 10 rounds. There is no license required for these purchases."

Wait a minute...a Judge in California wrote this? Maybe there is hope...

Bush appointee I believe I read somewhere.

CA will more than likely appeal which means it will go to the anti-gun 9th Circuit who will undoubtedly overturn it. It probably will end up at the Supreme Court.

I've been following this because I have gun-toting friends in California and I fly out there to shoot regularly. Those folks are buying LOTS of magazines since last Friday!

Update. Appeal filed. California residents cannot buy sell import of take possession of standard capacity mags as of 5pm tomorrow.

This is word of mouth from a friend there. Don't know the source. What this really hits is the "take possession of" thinking of all the mags they've ordered since Friday that are in transit.

This case is going all the way to the Supreme Court, based on the soundness of the trial judges opinion, anything less than sustaining the trial judges opinion will endanger recent SCOTUS precedent.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

My in-laws are there. North of San Fran. They're hard working, conservative damn fine Americans. They are just out-numbered by the mentally ill libturds. And they all might leave the state, same as many others. But they are not coming to Texas. Weather is too harsh. smile
