Went this last weekend out to Junction with a friend and my cousin. I took my cousin out on Saturday for his first turkey hunt and he shot a nice Tom by 8:00am. Had 3 beards; the longest was 10.5". My friend got one on Sunday afternoon about 1:30 after 3 hours of working the bird in.

The birds were definitely answering to calls, but are still after the hens. The two Toms that came the first hunt were trotting behind two hens when they saw our decoy and started gobbling and strutting. The next morning they seemed tied down with hens until around lunch. Both morning were heavy overcast and the birds were in the roost.
