Gronk never spent a dime of his game checks, he lived off all of his endorsements. That is pretty smart of him, even though he is one heck of a meathead.

I think he fundamentally changed the way that teams look to fill that position. Look who has come after him, Kelce, Ertz, etc.

Wittten is first ballot hall of fame. Is Gronk getting in first ballot?

Wittten is first ballot hall of fame. Is Gronk getting in first ballot? I think he will. Team went to 5 SB, 3 rings and just for the averages and way he transformed the position. If not first it will be close.

Wittten is first ballot hall of fame. Is Gronk getting in first ballot? Yes. If he stays retired, he will get in before Witten. Why would Gronk not be a first ballot guy?

If we weren’t in Texas we wouldn’t even know who witten is because he is vanilla and bland. Just because he’s a nice guy doesn’t get him recognized. It’s just what happens when you’re on a losing team

Not only does Gronk have 3 rings. Not only did he not spend a dime of his salary until recently, but he is a big, goofy blue collar guy that I think any of us would enjoy having a beer with. He is an extremely likable athlete in an era when many athletes disappoint by either on/off the field antics.

Somehow still had fun while playing for the Patriots’ regime.

If they got into a fight Witten would win. I can't believe I missed this post. DUDE, Gronk would whip his aZZ! Younger, bigger and way more athletic.

Gronk was fragile like Romo, he was always getting hurt. Witten never missed a game, except 1 game he broke his jaw, even then he played with it wired shut. Gronk would hit Witten and Witten would just smile then snap him in 2.
