We’re you hunting the Wagner? Not sure, never caught the ranch name and never got a chance to meet the owner of the place. I was talking to a friend of my dads telling him that we shoot pigs from the chopper once or twice a year. He asked if I could arrange one, I told him I need at least 10k acres that has pigs and I can make it happen. His face lit up with a big smile and says that he has a good friend that has just the place to fly. A flew months later, were up blasting away.

Did you get anywhere near Hwy 70 west of Vernon? We just came through there today, and there were 8 or 10 dead hogs along the road in one spot. And I don't mean were you shooting along the road. But I thought a bunch of wounded ones might have ended up there. Or maybe a semi hit a whole sounder . . .

How many magazines do you carry? I saw brass catchers. Spent brass a hazard to the helicopter? Reloader? Just curious....looks like an effective control method.

Yeah, cant get in the chopper without deflectors or bags. We flew the 777 Ranch 5 or 6 years ago and someone was riding shotgun and a spent casing from a AK47 hit the windscreen and bounced in between the pilots sunglasses and face, that was the last time we didnt make sure everyone has deflectors or bags. I bring about 8-10 mags up with a few of them being 60rd mags.

Could have been some of your victims. We flew back on March 5th, I wouldn't think they would be ours.

Sounds like you were flying over part of the Wagner. Killer bucks on that old ranch.
