Went hunting with a couple of buddies for the last few days. In the middle of everything, I took a break and just did some recording when the moon wasn't totally obscured by clouds and caught my buddy, Dave, making a good shot on a small running hog. When conditions are good, the SiOnyx Aurora is a really cool recording device for hunting...

Really cool footage. Interesting to see that hog pop out of no where near the deceased ones you got earlier.
How dark was it when you were filming? The SiOnyx is a pretty amazing little device. Still on my list of gadgets to acquire.

It was twilight-ish. The moon was 97%, but slightly obscured with clouds. There were moon shadows on the ground.
This isn't a Gen III NV device by any stretch, more like Gen 1+ or low Gen II, but with decent moon or surrounding light sources, makes for neat color NV video.

I really can’t wait to see the next crop of color digital cameras, if we could somehow break the barrier of low moonlight and get results like in this video it would be great - under $ 1k please
