I hate to speak out against Witten but Gronk could get yards after catch. Witten, while he had awesome hands and caught dern near everything, pretty much fell down as he got touched

Most guys are forced to retire because of injury or diminishing talent. Gronk goes out on top with another Super Bowl and still able to walk.

Just stating facts. Written played in 129 more games than Gronk (I think longevity and staying healthy means a lot). Gronk scored more touchdowns than Witten (79 vs 68). Gronk averaged 15.1 yards per catch, Witten 10.8. Gronk had 7800 yards on 522 catches. Witten has 12,400 yards on 1,100 catches. Both are all-time greats. Gronk was far more explosive than Witten. Witten’s longevity is extremely impressive.
