Do you eat the tails or not. I cooked shrimp last night and my wife will not eat the tails but I love them .I always have her save them and I eat them. Her loss is my gain.

Not the fins.

My wife won't eat them either and just puts them on my plate. Peel and enjoy.

Do peel the tails and get the meat out. I don’t eat shell or fins.

Yep I take the entire shell off before frying, too easy to peel the whole shell opposed to trying to make it look cute.

If you just lightly bight down on the shrimp and pull the meat inside the tail piece will usually pull out and I do eat it.

I usually do not eat the shell but have on occasion eaten shrimp with the whole shell on. One of my buddies in college insisted upon cooking shrimp like that. They weren't bad at all, just different.

I've eaten a lot of shrimp tails but not my thing anymore. I peel the whole shrimp and fry, just peeled & fried 5 1/2 lbs on Sat with no tails, more kid friendly too.

I do still love seasoned and fried fish tails though, nice and crispy like a tater chip. up

I like the fin, but not that last ring of shell.

What did you use for coating? Dip in any liquid before coating?

This is the seasoning I used. It is easy to use and it is really good. I got it at HEB and Brookshires. Funny this showed back up because I am having shrimp and catfish tonight.
