My dad and I spent some time metal detecting around the old farm house at our lease. The house was built at the start of the Great Depression, so there is plenty of old things to be found. Two of the things we found were an old leaf spring and a file. I sent both pieces to Mike C to determine if he could make them into knives. Well Mike took two rusty hunks of steel turned them into beautiful knives. The memory of spending quality time with my dad is great, but now I have some keepsakes. SnakeWrangler, I was an idiot and didn’t take pics before I mailed them to Mike. I did find a small piece of another file that was similar to the one Mike received.
