Curious...what is the contraption with the line going from the cylinder and attaching to the forward part of the rest?

Curious...what is the contraption with the line going from the cylinder and attaching to the forward part of the rest? He can make adjustments from the rear of the rest windage adjustments, to be honest, I dont use it, its easier to just move the rifle. They copied the really expensive rests with this feature. Bull Frog, this isnt the rifle I'm building now, Ive had this, trying to learn how to shoot it. surprised no one has noticed my brake is loose 1/4 turn,
