I’ve got some family coming to town late April. I want to do a hunting or fishing trip. Probably fishing given the time of year (not sure if the fishing is any good that time of year, I’m more of a hunter than a fisherman) and the fact that I don’t know who will be able to travel with hunting gear. Anyways looking for something fun within an hour or so of Houston for about four adults and possibly a youngster. I’ve got one brother coming who is a big time deep sea fisherman on the west coast, so that might be what we want. I dunno. Just wondering if any of y’all had any recommendations.

What part of Texas are you in? How far are you willing to drive? How many people?

We are in Spring. (North side of Houston). We probably would prefer about an hour drive but would do two. We’ve got a full day blocked out on the schedule (I think that is all one of my brother’s wife will let him off the hook for...) wish we could do longer. Probably be minimum of 3 adults could be as many as 5 and a kid, but only if Mom let’s him ditch a day of school.

You could probably find a charter out of Galveston.
Maybe a Guide on Rayburn or Toledo Bend.
Camp on Rayburn and bank fish.
Check dates and Counties for Spring Squirrel season, again Rayburn area.

Do it all the time. Kill hogs while bass fishing in ponds. Double bubble

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.
