It’s been years since I’ve been to Dalhart but I can’t recall anything worth going back to

Loves in Chilicothe. I get the manly burger.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Yup! Coyote Bluff in Amarillo. As good a burger as I ever had. It’s one place that lived up to the hype.

I love Allsups Burritos, and the Chimichangas are great too.

In Dalhart, stop at La Espanola II as it is a great Mexican food place. Order the combination as it's great and comes with huge sopapillas. Just on the right when you come into town on 87.
In Amarillo, Coyote Bluff is good but Blue Sky is just as good and has several more items to choose from. Try the Texas Cheesesteak (thin ribeye sliced then grilled with onions and jalapeno strips)...it's tasty.

Years ago, Johnny Hernandez. Forgot all about that.

Love the Allsups gut bombs. My wife hates them/me the morning after.

The XIT restaurant in Dalhart is pretty good and has some nice taxidermy to admire. In Clayton the 87 diner and Mock's Crossroads are good spots and The St. James Hotel in Cimarron also.
