Hudson has been having issues, but recently announced bankruptcy. Today on grabagun they are selling the Hudson H9 for 599, after tax and shipping up to 657. I know the guns were supposed to be having longevity issues , but for someone looking to throw it in the safe for 20 years and see what happens on value this may be a good buy. Take it with a grain of salt, just my 2 cents. I did pony up and take a dive on it. Just beware that if you plan to shoot it, parts availability may be non existent if it breaks.

There's a reason they went bankrupt. Gimmick guns. I doubt they will ever be collectors items.

How about the colt all American, star " mega star" , the cat 9. All limited runs or failed companies, values fluctuate but all have gone above the original msrp on the right market. Heck just the mags on the mega star can run upwards of a 100 bucks. At the price I got into it I think I'll be ok even if a collector market dosent devlope in the next 20 years. But like I said before, that's just my 2 cents.

On the other hand you arent wrong, theres a reason they failed. I cant say if it's a gimmick gun because I havent shot one, if I get a chance at another for that price I may buy one just to shoot and check out. I'm sure it's no medal winner in every categorie out there , or anywhere near the hype it had when it came out. But it is a gun, and I think guns are cool
