I got tired of typing degrees after a certain temperature a while back and searched how to make the degree sign after a number. Just in case you did not know how to do it... Here it is.(example...250°). Think of all of the time you will save.
Press and hold the ALT key and type 0 1 7 6 on the numeric keypad of your keyboard. Make sure the NumLock is on and type 0176 with the leading zero. If there is no numeric keypad, press and hold the Fn before typing the 0176 numbers of degree symbol.

Try this Tap and hold on the zero key, and you'll be presented with a little key pop-up that gives you the option. Just slide your finger over to the left until the degree symbol is highlighted, then let go... WHAMO! You can use the tap-and-hold trick on other keys on your iPhone or iPad virtual keyboard, too.Jul 19, 2013

On a MAC use Shift,Option,8 and you get ° and Option,K gets you ˚ a smaller degree symbol.

This will work too. I pinned it to my tool bar.
How to Make a Degree Symbol - Method 1 On Windows
Open Start .Click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Type in character map.
Click Character Map.
Check the "Advanced view" checkbox.
Search for the degree sign.

Look out for me on the weather threads. Last night the low was 50° . It's now 58° with a forecast high of 63°. It's easy peasy on my Ipad.

So, if you cut a board at 43°, will the other side be at 47°, and can you put them to gather and have a 90° turn?
