Crazy and horrible few days for New Zealand. I'm not going to talk politics just hunting. We are headed to Christchurch on Monday.

Nice Red Stag 150", big Fallow Deer, feral goat, and a few New Zealand possums.

Sorry 450" stag! Will post possum pictures when home. The pics are on a jump drive and I don't have access to computer.

Great time at Kuranui Lodge in Rotorua, New Zealand with Mort and Mel. We saw lots of stags over 600".

PH but I was there when he scored the stag on an official score sheet at 452 5/8". PH guessed him at barely over 400" in the field. So, we were both surprised at the final score. Deceptive but I got a lot more deer for the money.

Picture just before pulling the trigger. I love this photo because you can get a great view of the stags size. They were just starting to roar and so the cape is perfect.

Great trophies. I have a South Island Tahr and Rusa hunt planned for next year.

Nice Trophies. Went a couple of years ago and targeted Thar and Chamois. Going next year for stag, fallow and a Arapaho Ram.

I was there on separate trip for Tahr, fallow, and smaller stag.
The Tahr was, by far, best hunt I had. All day up and down slippery steep mountains in rain. Not fun at time, but memorable.
Actually went for Chamois this past time but wasnt successful seeing any, but love my Stag.
Will go back once more for Chamois and pair of paradise ducks.
