I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I learned my lesson on you get what you paid for when it comes to light bars. What do you reccomend?

All I buy now are the cheap Chinese bars. I had some Auxbeam cube lights that worked great and heard their light bars are good as well. I have some unknown brand Chinese one on my truck and it’s been fine for the past 4 years.
If you want a piece of mind, you can always pull it apart as soon as you get it and run some silicone to seal it up. Moisture getting inside is what typically kills them.

Of all of them, I had one that went bad on me. Their customer service was top notch, sent me a replacement inside two days.

Laugh all you want, but I have 4 of the ones from Walmart, and they are bright as hell, and are holding up great. I am sure the other brands are brighter, but damn how much light do you need. These will light up the road for further than I can make stuff out. Been running them on my big red for about 2 years, and on my rav 4 for over a year. My tractor has the small set and they are holding up great even with all the beating they are taking from branches.

If you compare a Rigid to a Baja Design, you'll never own another Rigid

Here is the cheapo Walmart light bar on my Honda big red. How about a pic showing where on the Big Red, you mounted the light bar. I want to do mine.

From an actual lighting standpoint, all the Chinese knockoffs put out a significant amount of light. My Jeep's 50" bar is made by an outfit called Xprite USA. I put silicone around all the edges, but water still manages to get in somewhere. That's my biggest gripe. I did some fin modifications to reduce noise while driving. I'm not sure there'd be any difference if I bought something more expensive from a brand like Rigid.

cheapo from amazon has been holding up on the front of a kawasaki mule for 3 years now. I think I paid 40 bucks for a 20". has been bounced around everywhere and has been many miles at 70 mph on the trailer too. I didn't silicone them and they have never had any water get in.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.
