I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I learned my lesson on you get what you paid for when it comes to light bars. What do you reccomend?

Not sure which thread was best for this question

I bought some off amazon that had high ratings and were cheap and they’ve held up great. Mictuning is the brand

All I buy now are the cheap Chinese bars. I had some Auxbeam cube lights that worked great and heard their light bars are good as well. I have some unknown brand Chinese one on my truck and it’s been fine for the past 4 years.

If you want a piece of mind, you can always pull it apart as soon as you get it and run some silicone to seal it up. Moisture getting inside is what typically kills them.

These guys are good.

Also, I've bought probably 2 dozen from Tuff LED lights. Of all of them, I had one that went bad on me. Their customer service was top notch, sent me a replacement inside two days.

Laugh all you want, but I have 4 of the ones from Walmart, and they are bright as hell, and are holding up great. I am sure the other brands are brighter, but damn how much light do you need. These will light up the road for further than I can make stuff out. Been running them on my big red for about 2 years, and on my rav 4 for over a year. My tractor has the small set and they are holding up great even with all the beating they are taking from branches.

Thanks, glad to be back. A lot less drama now than when I stopped coming.

This is the one I have on the big red and the rav 4.

I think this is the one I use on the tractor have 2 of these on it. They are not supper bright, but give plenty light for tractor use.

Then had to buy the switch kit.

I would like to see a side by side test RIGID vs the world. They just dont break.

I was thinking about a new grill set up on my Titan, I gave it up at $6,000

Torch Series Grilles - T-REX Grilles - Nissan Titan - Torch - 3 Pc Insert - Main Grille w/ (1) 20" LED Light Bar - Black - Pt # 6317851
Nissan Titan - Torch - 3 Pc Insert - Main Grille w/ (1) 20" LED

If you compare a Rigid to a Baja Design, you'll never own another Rigid

Amazon: "eyourlife"

Don't pay 10x as much for a Rigid.

most people buy them to look cool, you cant turn them on if youre on any public road

How about a pic showing where on the Big Red, you mounted the light bar. I want to do mine.

I am not home, won't be till Wednesday. But it is mounted in the roll bar under the roof. I made some brackets to fit around the bar.

From an actual lighting standpoint, all the Chinese knockoffs put out a significant amount of light. My Jeep's 50" bar is made by an outfit called Xprite USA. I put silicone around all the edges, but water still manages to get in somewhere. That's my biggest gripe. I did some fin modifications to reduce noise while driving. I'm not sure there'd be any difference if I bought something more expensive from a brand like Rigid.

cheapo from amazon has been holding up on the front of a kawasaki mule for 3 years now. I think I paid 40 bucks for a 20". has been bounced around everywhere and has been many miles at 70 mph on the trailer too. I didn't silicone them and they have never had any water get in.
