Looking for any information on fishing at Disney. Going to be there for 11 days just looking for something to breakup our time. Mainly which area is more productive in numbers not necessarily size.
Thanks

If numbers are your thing...get a crappie guide on Toho. Some of those Disney tanks are full of fish, I have no idea how you'd get on one though.

Not sure if you're interested in a little job but I've used George Welcome at Stick Marsh/Farm 13 and would definitely go there again with those guys. LOTS of fun.

Ha ha guess I should clarify, has anyone booked a fishing trip with Disney guides before? If so which area did you fish and how was it?
For what it’s worth I did ask this question on the TFF and did look at the WDW link but thanks for the advice. Just thought maybe someone over here had some more information.
Thanks.

You should be able to just research it through Disney. We've been a few times but I've never tried the fishing but have heard the bass fishing is really good.

If it's through Disney you know it'll at least be very nice and the guide will have his act together.

I went to boot camp in orlando (many many moons ago), the bass there get HUGE.
just watch out for the gators, we had them on the base and they were not afraid of people.

I would just take some tackle, topwaters (frogs mainly), rapalas, and rattle traps. just don't try to take them in your carry on.
