Looking at replacing my vortex 4-12 diamondback on my ruger american target in 22lr, Diamondbacks parralx is causing me some grief and the eye relief is hard for me to work with (I wear glasses) . I was looking at a leupold vx freedom rimfire in either 2-7x33 or 3-9x40. Both at or under 200$ anything else in the price range I should look at before I pull the trigger?

this is what I put on my target 22 - also THF hunting forum members get a discount - contact Skyler
Plus they have a bunch of other scopes. I was having problems with a much higher end scope parallax adjustment nothing below 30 yards.

This vortex adjust from 10 yards to infinity. any scope you pick check the parallax specs on it. I wear glasses also no problem & you can run this scope up to 24x at 25yards no problem when you want to stack the bullets on top of each other

Appreciate the offer but I'm looking for a scope with either adjusting parralax or one factory set at either 50 or 75 yrds like most rimfire scopes

All I have extra, that I would sell, is a steel Weaver El Paso 4X. On my rimfires I have a couple of Leupold 2x7s, a Leupold 4.5-14, and a Nikon 3-9 Rimfire scope. The Nikon is good. The 4.5-14 is better, and has AO.

I just acquired the SWFA 2.5-10 that’s going on a 22. It’s a very nice and clear scope, no bells and whistles, but small and very light weight. Did I mention it’s very clear?

I have a Freedom 2x7 Rimfire I just put on a 10-22 and really like it . I had a Vortex Diamondback HP 2.5 -8 on it and didn’t like the eye relief . It was really tricky at 8 power .

I have a Clearidge Ultra RM 3-9x32 AO rimfire scope on a CZ 512. Do a google search and you’ll find good comments about them. They are made by LOW in Japan which is a very good thing in my book.

The Nikon Rimfire are excellent scopes and worth a look. I compared the leupold, bushnell and Nikon and all of my rimfire are currently scoped with Nikon scopes.

I put a Bushnell AR Optics 4.5 x 18 on Ruger Precision Rimfire. So far, I love it. Got it at SWFA on sale for 146.
