Hey guys, I apologize for the delay as I have been out with hog hunters the last two days about an hour from home.

To answer some questions from above, the hunt is from a ground blind watching a feeder and this hunt will take place in "Hunt" Texas. I did check the camera today so here are some photos. I have a hunt booked next weekend March 1-2. I told the gentleman I wouldn't have any hunters prior to him so I have to keep that promise to insure a quality hunt. I will check back with more photos and hopefully a dead ram. I plan to possibly book one more hunt after next weekend. Thanks for all the interest and I apologize again for those that tried to reach me and couldn't. If you are interested in a possible hunt after next weekend, let me know.

Hey guys, I just had another hunter claim the second hunt pending the success of my first hunter during the March 1-2 weekend. I will keep everyone up to speed with pictures and notify of success or no luck. Two hunts is all I really would like to put on this spring but if I have unsuccessful hunters I may conduct another hunt to thin these sheep out. Another option, I would consider a couple EWE hunts as both my other hunters are in pursuit of rams. EWE hunts would start after my ram hunters. Thanks for all the interest.

ewes edible?

From all the research I've done about eating Aoudad, I have found mixed opinions. These are wild sheep so my guess is they would taste better than a high fenced steroid fed sheep? There are a lot of recipes online for Aoudad. There is only one way to find out...

Thanks for a great hunt Jason. It was a lot of fun and we took a great trophy — in the end the biggest challenge was having to choose between “shooter rams.” Pleasure meeting your family as well — thanks for the whole experience.

For those on the forum, this is a fantastic hunt. Jason is also the real-deal — very experienced and knowledgeable guide who knows how to take care of clients and get them on game. I’ll very likely be hunting with him again.
