Called in 8 yotes and two cats. Watch the new season of Carnivore and watch a yote sneak up right behind me, I never knew it was there. Steve got it all on camera. Yote slips around me and comes out by the call and Gary gave it a nap.

Yea and I'm feeling it this morning, went down hard on a side hill and crammed a knee into the rocks. Mrs B says I'm getting to old for this, I say never! I'll just limp around and whimper for a few days.

Great job. My son's baseball season is really putting a damper on my predator hunting but I wouldn't miss seeing him play for anything. up

Thanks again for a great time and don't be a Quitter! It seems we always capture something rare on video when hunting with the HWY_MAN and this year was no different. Getting video of a coyote sneaking in behind Mike and studying him from about 10 steps was extremely rare. Getting the same coyote killed was even more rare as he had to cross our scent trail. Mike handled the situation perfectly though he did not know that the dog was there. Had he made a move with the coyote studying him, it would have been all over.
We called up the two cats and did not get either one on video. First one sat down where only I could see it and the second squirted away from the call after Steve and I stood up to leave. The BIG tom had walked a wash until he was at the caller and the only way he can get there without being seen. I told Mike and Steve that we could have sold that cat for a lot of money on Saturday as the West Texas Big Bobcat Contest was in full swing.
Adios,
Gary

That was a big cat! Sure wish we could have got him on camera, maybe next time when you bring your new caller. I'll never quit but I might whine a little, this right knee is pretty swelled up right now and the left has a couple of pretty good bruises. Should have been more careful in those lose rocks. But I have to say the rifle never hit the ground, I cushioned it's fall!

Steve missed the fall but I heard rocks rolling and looked up to see you make impact. Just like all good soldiers, I did notice that you took extra care not to fall on your rifle. Of course, how do you mess up a Ruger American...one of the many reason that I love them. I sure hated that you got to see miss that coyote.......
Adios,
Gary

Don't know about the yotes but you've got over 130 years between that couple of old goats.

Yes, we had a few years on the coyotes. I never was one to worry about how mature the coyotes were as the rancher generally wants all of them on the ground. If my memory serves me correctly, the larger of the two coyotes in this photo exhibited quite a bit of tooth wear.
Adios,
Gary
