Whats everybody's thoughts on the Annealeez machine? Looks like for $275 its a complete setup ready to go. I have about 3000 pieces of brass so I think it should pay for itself fairly quickly. I'm sure there is something better but looking to see if it is worth the investment?

I like mine. It's the easiest step in my reloading process.

3,000 piece of brass? Goodness, I guess it would pay for itself quickly.

I'm not sure it would be a strong "con" but I will say that it costs a bit more time and money when needing to switch the wheels out for long action cartridges (270 / 30-06 / etc) versus the short cartridges (Grendel / 300 BO / 223).

Other than that minor issue, the machine works great !

I put my order in yesterday, they say it should be here in a week or so. Free shipping also.

Did anybody have an issue with the brass not wanting to turn on the bottom wheel? I’ve been trying to get it setup but the brass seems to not turn all the way thru the cycle.

Hey J -

If I recall I too got a slow start with the bottom wheel turning the case. Stuff sits around in different environments, gets thrown in a box and a delivery truck, etc...

Point being, you may need to renew the tackiness of the blue colored coating on that bottom wheel with a little (and I emphasize LITTLE) bit of HOT soapy water.

Best bet is to remove it from the machine, give it a dunk and let it air dry - no finger oils, no paper towel residue and reinstall and try again.

I did a few hundred 6.5 Grendel and a few hundred 308 Win this weekend - you'll notice I modified the wheels for the different case lengths cause I'm a cheap son of a gun smile

6 seconds per case - results are great!
