They are a labor of love, but worth the time to make. Yes they most certainly are. I consider them a base, or part of a base, for many things I cook. Same here. Learned from momma long ago many many dishes start with an onion! Even got my 4 year old on board with them because his little sister eats them lol.

Especially with the 10/15 sweet onions, those natural sugars that come to life are supple.

One of my daughters told me she didn't like or eat onions. I said that s bull, you eat everything I cook and I put onions in just about everything I make. Love me some onions.
Currently re-enrolled in the school of hard knocks.
