The Blanco county youth livestock association does a pen raised bird hunt as a fund raiser every year. I have been doing the guiding for the hunt for about 6 years. This year I ask Jason to help. He brought his young dogs and worked his butt off Saturday in 20 mph winds and warm weather. His dogs did great in very adverse conditions. I was very impressed with his patience and dog handling skills. He had obviously had a great mentor.
All had a great time and I made friends with a man that is an asset to our sport. Lots of money raised for a good cause.

Thank you for the kind words tigger. Had a lot of fun and thank you again for the conversation and guidance you provided throughout the weekend and last but not least, thank you for allowing me the chance to handle Charlie, he taught them pups more than I ever could!
