So I bought an anker battery pack for my pulsar digisight n550, I ordered the usb connector for it on amazon on as well.... however i'm not getting any power with it does anyone know the cord I need to order to be able to run it off the battery pack? I thought I chose the right one if someone would be so kind as to send me the link of the one they ordered that would be a great help. Thanks in Advance!

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me but I wasn't aware of any of the older Digisight models being USB power capable?

I don't think anything before the 2017/2018 Digisights can use anything but the Pulsar EPS3i and EPS5 battery packs. The N750, N550, N960 etc all use the EPS battery packs only.

That input port on the Digisights is to allow updates to the reticles.

Wait....are you trying to use a USB battery pack and converting the USB from the battery pack to the round male pin used by the Pulsar EPS battery packs? I didn't know that was possible but it sounds like you've researched it. If that's what you're trying to do, I'm definitely not sure how to help, sorry about that. Pretty cool if there is a way to make that work. Good luck.

Yes, I went and bought an Anker Power Bank and then This to hook up to the N550 and it wasn't working.... now the powerbank is the same one sold on ultimatenightvision.com so i figured i would just skip the middle man and buy it from amazon myself, i'm guessing the issue with the the usb cord i purchased from them?

I'm guessing the problem is with the cord. Is this something you know will work? Have other people successfully done this?

I'm not saying it won't work, I was just unaware this was an option to go around buying the Pulsar EPS battery packs. I can only imagine that the cable is the issue. Another thing to consider is, many USB battery packs require something to be plugged in and drawing power for the battery to remain on. They have an auto-off function so that when the USB cable is unplugged from the power receiving item (normally a phone, tablet etc) they will shut off and thus save the stored battery life. Maybe this auto-sensing feature doesn't since you're converting from a USB to male power plug? I'm just thinking out loud....

If you know this will work, I'd definitely find whoever you showed how to do it and see what cables they used because I'd suspect that's the problem, assuming the Pulsar will actually allow power input from this setup.

To my understanding you'll need the 12v model

You have to make sure the output of the battery pack will work with the thermal scope. Do your research on what those requirements are.

It is a digital nightvision scope (Pulsar Digisight N550), an older model, not thermal. As he is having a problem making it work, that is exactly what he is doing right now.

This post is 4 months old. FYI, you can't run an N550 on a USB battery. The middle man could have saved the OP money. The N550 wants 9-15 volts.
