I have heard good things about that one, if its the same one. I did mine myself, the only difficult part was taking out the old exhaust, but wasn't too bad I was able to use a lift though to make it easier.

I’ve heard that any Ford 6.7 after ‘15 needs a specific program done. Obviously not something I can do alone.

All of them need a tune. I researched until countless hours. A bunch of ways you can go. I went with the SCT X4 w/ preloaded Tyrant Tunes. Prices didn't vary much but these guys were very helpful on the phone.

Most decent delete kits come with basic delete tuning & a plug in programmer / tuner.

Yeah I hear ya. Bobo was talking about it no longer being a “plug and play” type procedure after the delete. Hence obviously not being able to do it myself like what was stated earlier.

Probably don’t want to try it yourself sir.

Eventually the government will crack down on deletes, by the time this happens you’ll have a different truck most likely.

Yeah I sure hope that’s the case.

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I have deleted 2 6.7 fords.... Both 2015, one is a f250 and on is a f450... I average 14.5-15 in the 250 and 9.5 - 11 in the 450..... I have changed tunes and tried a few. Everything was done with EZ lynk and I started with a set of tunes bannanasmoothie... now just running a plus 50hp bland tune in the 250 and still getting below average MPG..... Going to retune this week and see.

Thanks

Lmao! I’ve ridden in the 450, the problem is that bed and your right foot.

I can’t imagine the 250 gets treated any different!

He should post pics! They are really sweet trucks!

Yeah I usually pull a 42' trailer with the 450 BUT im getting about 10-11 when not pulling.... My 250 probably has a trailer hooked to it more than your average 250-450 owner BUT im tracking MPG when not pulling. Yes TL is right I USE my trucks and I use them ALOT!!! But I know guys that deleted 250's getting 19-23 MPG average and I can not get there.... and yes I either drive 85 or 0 Home PD got me the other day hauling home from county show at 72+ in a 50..... They were VERY nice when the tickets came out!

My ‘15 1 ton ford only gets around 13.5-14, but I have only run one tank through it without a trailer on at some point. It also has a flatbed and mud tires
