Any one have an experience hunting this area? It’s northwest of Doss, Tx wanting to know what to expect regarding exotics if any. Ranch has live water along back so I’m thinking it would help draw them in if there’s any present.

My family has land there. Decent deer (130” at top end, give or take a few inches ) and some axis running around

Thanks SBushee, there’s definitely a ton of deer. Saw many driving into and around the ranch. Pretty nice area, looking forward to getting started once the current leasees lease is up.

I have been on a lease on salt branch loop for the last two seasons. Lots of deer with good buck to doe numbers on our place. We shot no trophies last year and took a 130, 137, and 142 this year. No exotics seen in the last two years.
