Pros and cons? Was told now that the F250 6.7 has twin turbos, there isnt very much variance in mileage. Any validity to this?

There will be a gain in fuel mileage as it will no longer use diesel to burn off the DPF. If you delete/block the egr it will be good for you motor as well, keeping soot out of your intake and oil.
Its not cheap and its technically against the law. Are you going to keep the truck long term? If your not going to keep it till high miles and its not currently giving you problems I wouldn't.
It's hell eatin em live

Pros * Healthier for engine * Less parts to fail * Increased power * Increased fuel economy
Cons * Sound * Smoke
When all that stuff fell of my 2011 6.7 I had significant fuel mileage increases. I now get 24 - 25 on the highway and 18 - 19 around town. And that's with Nitto Trail Grappler 295-70-18s which are bigger and softer - meaning heavier and more rolling resistance - than the factory tires. I lost 3 MPGs when I replaced the factory tires and put on the Trail Grapplers.
Seriously though, the cons would be if 1) vehicle is still under warranty, 2) you get caught by the feds, 3) you live in a diesel emissions county.
To my knowledge (which is basically none) the 6.7 does not have a twin turbo though it has VGT (variable geometry turbocharger). I'll leave turbo talk to smart people.

On a deleted truck, If the truck is tuned right, it wont smoke hardly at all, and if youre worried about noise, then put a muffler on it.

As long as youre never thinking of trading it in to a dealer, the only problem may be getting it inspected.

I haven't had an issue with inspection. My county doesn't do emmisions testing though. I have noticed a good increase in mpg. I have not noticed much at all of an increase in sound, it does sound a little different from what it did but that's it. It does smell different. I waited until my 100k mile warranty expired and my DEF system messed up again (it did twice under warranty). I kept everything they took off and have it stored just in case I need to put it back on in the future.

Dual turbos, not twin. One is high flow one is high pressure.
Cast I have a short attention spa

Deleting my 6.7 was the best decision that Ive made with mine. Yes it is slightly louder and yes I can make it roll coal but I typically keep my foot out of it so no smoke. I wouldnt call those Cons either. I increased my fuel economy 3-4 mpg but i also increased my tire size quite a bit at the same time and added full replacement front and rear bumpers and a leveling kit. I also added S&B intake as well. I left the muffler on mine so it doesnt sound like Im 18 with little man syndrome
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

I did my 6.7 powerstroke in October, wish I would have done it sooner. I have a muffler, yes it is louder but not bad, especially in the cab. The only time it smokes is if I punch it to pass someone, and its only a short burst, not a constant flow.

It makes me wonder why the EPA implemented these regulations or how the auto industry allowed it. The trucks dont perform as efficient as they can. So, no black smoke but more fossil fuels are being burned.

I've had 4 deleted. Better mileage, cleaner burning (tuned properly) and longer engine life. 6.7 came with a single charger unless you want to add fuel and air.

So, no black smoke but more fossil fuels are being burned. You are talking about the same EPA that wanted to fine Okla farmers for dust in the panhandle, also the same EPA that tried to destroy a man life for building a pond even though he got all state and country permits, same EPA that tried to stop a city from treating thier waste, citing it wasnt natural to treat waste that ends up in rivers, it should naturally be broken down by the rivers..... EPA was weaponized by the left and this was another part of it

If in Austin go by and talk to Danny Runyon at AB&T Diesel. He did my Ford. It runs awesome. He's honest and great on those motors.

Thanks for all the info gentlemen! Can anyone recommend a shop in the north Dallas area? Heard good things about a shop in Princeton but want to check with anyone who might have some positive info about any other shops close by. Im in the Frisco/Prosper area.

I have heard good things about that one, if its the same one. I did mine myself, the only difficult part was taking out the old exhaust, but wasn't too bad I was able to use a lift though to make it easier.

Ive heard that any Ford 6.7 after 15 needs a specific program done. Obviously not something I can do alone.

If you do a delete it will require programming/tuning, no way around it. Most decent delete kits come with basic delete tuning & a plug in programmer / tuner. You have to 'turn off' regeneration & def injection via computer manipulation, other things in the ecm/pcm programing must be changed to prevent check engine light, diagnostic trouble codes, engine power derate and going into limp mode due to deactivation & deletion of emissions system.
You can't just remove the dpf replace with a delete pipe & drive.
