I was finally able to shoot a buck that is a trophy in my eyes, and might not ever be able to shoot 1 like him again. We blood trailed him til dark, then it rained the next two days. We found him 4 days later, very decomposed, and he had broken his main beam all I took was the head. If the pic I added works, I am hold the main beam together in my left hand. He also broke a tine off in this same spot. If anyone knows of a taxidermist that has some extra capes, can fix the main beam, and the time, I would greatly appreciate the help!! Thank you.

It would help if you posted where you live. I know that Alpine Taxidermy in Fort Worth does great work an could easily repair the horns. Alpine has done several of my mounts and have always been pleased with his work.

Any reputable taxidermist should be able to do both for you. Find one near where you are and give them a call.

Back when I was a taxidermist, I had to buy a cape from another taxidermist for a similar reason. Your chosen uy can call around. Better to have one from the same area. Antler repair is not a hard task. European mounts are much cheaper.
Funny thing is I mounted critters for everyone but me.

Another vote for Alpine, they did my big deer and my Elk...
