Prime ribeyes, cold smoke them for half an hour at 150 degrees. Then hit them with a sear at 650 degrees on the propane grill.

Wasn't 150 degrees at 1.5 hrs a bit much?

Your grill marks are spot on.

Sure would have been but those were cold smoked for half an hour, not 1.5 hrs. Took them off when the internal temp was around 105-110, then high heat until 125. Those grill grates are worth the money.
