Hunted Electra Saturday morning. No birds. Hunted Crowell Saturday afternoon 1 Covey 4 singles. No birds shot. Hunted Ralls Sunday morning no birds. Wishing everyone a better last of the season hunt. Still had fun with friends.

We had a good weekend. Six coveys yesterday and 4 today. Im not missing the last weekend.

This will be the first year in 40 years that I have not even carried a gun while I was quail hunting. I hope I can change back next year.

Pointed 8 coveys yesterday and 4 today. Glad I took off for the last 4 days of season. We hunted this morning and messed with pointer pups all afternoon. It was fun watching them run.

Wind was so bad today we ran some pups this morning and didn’t do any hunting. We drove around the ranch all day drinking cold beer and shot three hogs and a bobcat. Was still a lot of fun.
