Got a buddy trying to interest me in buying his truck, he wants to buy a newer one, this one has a problem, it starts nice every time, however dies each time within a couple seconds, I'm no\t a mechanic however when my tractor or mowers do this, I instantly think "Fuel supply", what say you experts ?

If it is the 4.8 V8 then run from it. It’s an expensive fix

Get him to fix it and then think about buying it. Unless it is give away cheap don't buy a broke vehicle.
