Fun night last night. My chair didn't even get warm as I was in it for such a short time on the first hunt. The last hunt was over 30 minutes long and the last 20 minutes of stalking covered less than 40 yards as I sort of ended up in a no-shoot corner, but then it worked out well. After seeing a thread here previously on deer lice, I was surprised to find something similar on the belly of a small boar. Comparing zoomed images with various parasites online, this little guy seemed to have a small population of pig lice on him. That was creepy, LOL. Fortunately, they seem much more oriented to livestock than humans.

Yea, P_P, I sort of stalked myself into a corner shooting-wise, trying to play the wind, fenced treeline, barn yard, cattle, and hillside. Then, some actually moved in on me, LOL. No worries. They were all pretty small.

This bullet testing is a pretty interesting but it seems the 90 gr. TNT is the best of all worlds, safer to shoot at night. I have found some lice on pigs myself, huge flat/clear looking things almost as big around as a dime.
