looking at buying this scope new in the box and cant find any info on it. any help would be greatly appreciated

The Zeiss Conquest 6-20x50 was discontinued a bunch of years ago. This scope was made for them by Meopta. It was basically a re-wrapped Meopta Meopro 6.5-20x50, which we have on special for $649.99 with hunting turrets and $699.99 with target turrets. according to Zeis this one was a fake and I did not buy it. Im looking for the best scope I can buy for about $1000 to put on a 300 short mag and take to Colorado for an Elk hunt

Will do go if they made the line of Ziess Conquests. I assume you mean the line that the HD5 series eventually replaced.
