Look at the browse line on those trees. Way too many animals on that place. And the others are correct. This isn’t a recent pic.

I guess everyone is an expert on ranching, no browse line here, just trimmed cedar and cactus, we have almost year round grass and flowers around our water tank, but I should have specified, the old ram is still there, heads up to the details guys. DC

I’m not prepared to call BS on the pic timing. This pic was taken at my east TX place on 1/13 and the narcissus are still in bloom everywhere around the house. Grass still green too.

Show me photos of your sunflowers in full bloom right now. I have green winter grasses right now also...Rescue Grass, Texas Winter Grass, etc. same as what you have but I can not tell for sure what type of grass that is in the OP's photo. It is not Rescue Grass or Wild Rye. I have a few winter forbes that are blooming also...not sunflowers.

I don’t have any sunflowers. And I certainly don’t claim to be an expert on them. But it’s been a very strange year in my area due to all the moisture. I’ve seen things I can’t recall seeing before in the dead of winter.
IDK if that applies further west or not. This is just a year that causes me to hesitate on calling out things that would obviously be “off” in a normal year. That’s all I’m saying.

I am far from an expert also but know that native sunflowers do not bloom in early Feb in the Hill Country area. Wet winters like we have make for lots of green that we normally do not see. Going to be a tremendous spring this year with lots of color.

NP, that isn't even a real dog, is it? She doesn’t think so - she thinks she’s a furry human.

It all depends if it is HF or LF. Also if it is on your place or the neighbors. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
