Buzz if you need Reloader 26 in 8lb container I know where they have 3-4 left as of Thursday when I picked up another. They were sold out of 1 lb if that’s what you need. 4350 and 4831 are good but you will probaly max out about 50fps slower than R26. If you are holding your speed back then it won’t matter. Just for information.... mine recently lost speed and my throat has moved approximately .025. Had to seat out little further and bump my charge to get velocity back. I haven’t gone back and added up rounds but I am around the 1000 round mark give or take. Just loaded my empties from last two predator hunts and headed out for this weekends game of hide and seek. Just hope this barrel makes it another month so I don’t have to change during season.

Thanks David !!!,
the difference between you and me is you actually SHOOT your rifles !!!!!
You are the .. .22 Creed Whisperer. I appreciate your help getting me started with mine. It should be finished mid-May, which probably means July. Ha, Ha. you know how customs go.
Think I'll start with a pound and try the 90gr as I develop my load.
I've picked up some data off snipers hide to get started with. Should be fun.
If you dont mind, I would like to be able to bend your ear if I get stuck somewhere on this journey. Buzz

I know Jason has folks shoot from different positions using different/improvised rests, but darn it, I don't think I want to see this. Another thought, in matches I've seen on the Garvey estate, all shooters are required to use the same rest for each stage. If what you say is true here, I'm using my own rest or I'm going home early. I ain't using Buzz's...rest.

it will be probably end of April-June. 75 rifles were ordered, cutoff was yesterday. Now the barrels, stocks, triggers, brakes, DBM's will be ordered as chosen by the buyers. stocks will be painted by customers order. I was one of the first to order, so hopefully the orders will be filled FIFO. I think I saw 7mm-08 was ordered the most, followed by the 6.5 PRC. I updated my Trigger to the Trigger Tech Diamond from the Primary. Most of my shooting will be from a rest, so I will set it at 1-1.5# to match my others. I went with a Vais brake as I wont be shooting off the ground. Almost got another Hellfire as I believe they are the most effective at cutting recoil but with a .22 Creed I dont have to worry about it, I really like the looks of the radial brake anyway. Got dies, brass, components. All I'm waiting on is for it to be finished. On the reamer being used to chamber mine runs about a 2 thousandths tight, so using Alpha Brass, I may have to turn necks slightly . Hornady should be fine with their thinner necks. I Dont mind, as my shooting doesn't fall into the super volume category as some. You know, shoot a few groups, get it right.......................................sell it Jason will love me for this, I actually ordered some "ladder test" targets Yes, there are ladder test targets. You know me, the "all day sucker". Butcher paper with Sharpie semi round circles wont get it for me

Ladder test target it butcher paper, and a cross made out of two strips of duct tape. The reticle almost exactly covers 2" wide duct tape from 500 yards out.

Congrats Buzz.
My new rifle build this year will be finally getting my McMillan Game Warden for my CTR and possibly cutting the barrel back to 16-18" for the suppressor that is on order.

I don't mean to high jack the tread, would someone explain the + side of the 22creed? thanks 22 Creedmoor is the latest iteration of fast 22 caliber cartridges that offer speed with heavy for caliber high BC bullets or crazy speed with lighter bullets. Some others in that line are 22-243, 223 WSSM, 22 Middlestead and 224TTH. look at some of the 75 to 85 gr offerings and even 90gr .224 bullets though the 90s need a 1:7 twist while the 75 to 85gr selections can be run well in those calibers with a 1:8 twist. In my 22-243 I can run 75gr Swift Sirocco bullets at 3500fps with good accuracy and trajectory that matches very closely my 257 WBY out to 500 yards which is not bad for a deer and hog gun with a bullet that holds together and typically exits on short shots like through both shoulders on a 190lb buck at 10 yards and a 200b hog at 300 yards. One other cartridge I left out the 22-250 AI which is very close to the 22 Creedmoor just a smidge more case capacity than the 22 Creedmoor and if one doesn't mind the ase necks being just a little short you can make 22 Creedmoor brass by fireforming 22-250 brass in a 22 Ceedmoor chamber. Recoil from these fast 22s is like a 243 with light bullets so not much at all. In my 27 inch 22-243 I can run the 90s but am pushing them hard to get there and they have to be running 3300fps at the least to get good accuracy with the 1:8 twist barrel. Basically in a nutshell you can run higher BC 22 cal bullets to get higher BC and SD at speeds that make for flatter and easier hits on PDs and yotes at longer distances than you would with other 22s without as much recoil as larger diameter bullets. Fast is fun

Yep and cuz I dont have one.
You can have a .22-250 with a fast twist and do the same thing.
If you are an AR guy, which I'm Not, there are two good choices there.

Bolt action but I have heard of a few ARs in the 22 Creedmoor, of course that has to be on the AR10 instead of the AR15 platform. The 224 Valkerie is about as hot as it gets in the AR15 for a 22 cal in the AR 15 and there are some in the 223 WSSM from one manufacture.
