TTT, you will have people standing in line. Hunting wild birds usually involves a lot of driving and expense, with no guarantee of finding birds. Those seeking the instant gratification of hitting the easy button will book hunts. Thanks for the kind words. Not looking to rip anyone off but it’s got to make financial sense for my partner and I as well. I live in Mansfield, so I’ve got a decent fuel investment and personal time investment that I have to factor in addition to bird expenses, lunch for hunters, etc.

I have friends that go to a resort/preserve in Kansas a couple times a year and pay a comparable amount to this with room and board. I can't see it going over, but I sure hope it does!

I chase wild birds with my dog, but I also know several people who prefer the sure thing afforded by pen raised birds. Good luck to the both of you!
