Has anyone used this product? If so how was your experience with it? Would you recommend it to someone looking hunt hogs with it?

I messed with one during deer season a couple times. If you’re looking for a scanning device it isn’t the answer. I had a buck 80 yards in front of me in the wide open and it showed up as a tiny dot. I didn’t track blood with it so can’t say if it’s good for that.

What do you recommend for a scanning device?

I sell them and I agree with Aggie. If you want to find a dead deer or hog in the woods or brush, they are great. If you want to see that there is "something" out there in front of you, it works pretty well at that out to about 200 yards but you'll have no idea what it is. Leupold called it a tracker and it's great for that purpose but not for scanning.
If you want to scan with thermal I'd highly recommend getting a legitimate thermal monocular. The Pulsar Axions are coming out in a couple months and they will start at $1,899 and go up to $2,599. They are the real deal for scanning. If that's more than you'd like to spend, I'd suggest something like the Sightmark Signal RT digital NV optic for $399. It's definitely not thermal but for the money it's a much better scanner than something like the LTO Tracker.
Let me know if you have more questions.
