This is a sweet and sour sauce with pepper heat. You can you any kind of hot peppers you want, but we use the mild ones. You can also add a can of crushed pineapple, I like to use the blender and mince the pineapple.

Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce

1 cup water
1 cup rice vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoon finely minced hot peppers
2 teaspoons ketchup
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Combine water and vinegar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add everything else except the corn starch, and stir. Remove from heat and stir in cornstarch. Place in serving dish and refrigerate until ready to serve.
