A lot of chains. I have yet to find an outstanding restaurant in Texarkana.

That's kinda what I'm seeing. I was hoping for something better. Maybe somebody will chime in with some choices.

The Fiesta House --- (New Mexico style Mexican food) is really good.
Naaman's BBQ --- Great bbq
Dixie Diner --- Really good home style cooking
Zapata's Mexican --- Good Mexican food (A little more expensive)
Tacos Mi Pueblo --- Authentic Mexican food (Sopas, Menudo, Gorditas, Etc)

There are plenty of good places to eat in Texarkana. It Depends on what you are looking for. Let me know and I can recommend more.

I much prefer a mom and pop/hole in the wall to chains. I like most all types of food. I can do without Indian though. I'm not a curry fan. Thanks for the input.

All those I listed would work for you. I also like Gusanos Chicago Style Pizzeria and The One Chinese Buffet (that's the real name) but some people don't. If I can help any more let me know.
