Driving back from the deer lease, last day of season.

I have to reload a gazillion rounds of ammo. I don't think I'll watch football Sunday.

I will be conducting the Great Avocado Experiment. Several months ago found really nice ones
at a great price so peeled, removed seed, vacuum sealed and froze so many it made my wife a little worried.
Will make guac with some this weekend to see how it works.

Most likely working....definitely wont be watching.....

Please keep up posted, it would be nice if they hold up instead of having to pay three arms and a leg in the off season.

Why?? Making Guacamole is so easy maybe even a Caveman can do it..

I am talking about that brand of guac. I love avocado's, we eat them a few times a week.

We had a lot of guacamole left over after Christmas and I vaccume sealed it and left it in the refrigerator for over a week. It was as good as when I made it. It was still fresh looking and green, not dark colored at all.

Okay, lets have it. I'll go first. Avocado, salsa, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. I smushed mine up to lumpy.

Avocado, fajita seasoning, chile powder and lime juice, mixed until a nice lumpy smooth.

Add cilantro. Thank me later.

why fuss?

I do when I have it on hand.

My time is too valuable to buy, peel add stuff to make it. I buy the ready made. Better and cheaper than doing it myself.

I like eating them with a spoon on the half-shell....

Except that round thing in the center is a little tough...

Cut, scoop out, mash w/fork, salt and pepper and eat.

And some Tabasco and salty tortilla chips

I know for sure that I just separated opinion from fact. I just made the best guacamole that has ever been made. I had it with my serendipitous nachos. I have a perfect sting in my mouth.
