I知 not the best in the world at aging deer by looking at trail cam pics but I知 usually pretty close. This East Texas post rut buck has stumped me. In a couple pics, he looks 3.5yo and in some pics, his head makes him look 5.5+yo to me. Any suggestions on age? I just bought this land this year so I知 not familiar with the deer herd yet. I have seen photo history of really old East Texas bucks(9+) that looked more like a young deer. I would call him mature at least..but I am leaning towards very old.

Agreed.. he is rutted down, but he's past mature in my book.

My first Gut says 6.5, but Blk and white photos always seem to get me. So 5.5

Only one color photo makes him look post mature others just mature
