Had him on camera all through September and then he disappeared.Assumed he got taken during bow season. Well he finally resurfaced the week of Thanksgiving. Caught him out of the corner of my eye briskly walking through a field. After 2 times of stopping him with a sound resembling a mix of goat and dying cat l was finally able to collect my nerves and let the 270 work it’s magic. He piled up less than 50 yards away with a perfect heart shot. Longest shot and best buck for me. Figured l would finally take the time to post this with the KC dinner coming up tonight. Swing by and say hi if any of y’all are going to be down there
Very nice deer. I hunted next door to you for years. Had a lot of good bucks on camera but only saw one live, bow hunting but he was out of range. Congratulations.
