I know it’s to early now however when do you guys put your blinds out/up?
I have cameras all over my property and something that I have noticed is I have a designated feeder 30 yards away from an elevated box of line that is 5 feet off the ground. I normally use this particular feeder for hunting pigs however during the day it seems to have always attracted turkeys during the spring ! I have always hunted turkeys from a ground blind and I was wondering has anyone ever done it from a 5ft elevated box? What are the pro’s and con’s of this
Below is a picture of my pig blind that I am about to throw some green paint on this weekend . I was just wondering since turkey are all over the feeder that is 30 yards in front of this stand maybe I could get away with using this set up rather than having to put a ground blind out .
You can use that one. Put you a line of corn from your feeder to about 15 yards from the blind. Then make you a line at 15 yards (think upside down T as you look from blind to feeder). If the birds are regular on camera it's that easy sometimes.
