it is good for your digestive system and for people who are diabetic. The one that was recommended to me was Bragg apple cider vinegar because it is unpasteurized, raw and unfiltered. I use off and on and it has helped me with heartburn. I was surprised because I was worried that it would make it worse. Bragg Aplle Cider Vinegar

Also will help ward off the crud when it’s going around. I keep some I’m a little spray bottle and spray a couple shots at the back of my throat several times a day during the season and especially when i’m getting a sore throat. I’ve actually had it cure me a few times when I would have needed to go to the doc for antibiotics in the past. I think the reason it helped you and didn’t make your heartburn worse is because the acid in the vinegar actually helped your stomach get back to the right PH it needed in order to keep things involved with your digestive system functioning correctly.

I've taken the Bragg's off and on for years. I've gone longer this time that before and rarely miss a day.
What made me quit before I guess was the horrible taste. I would put 1-3 Tbps of vinegar, a shot of lemon juice, and about a half cup or more of water and down it. Some articles recommended honey, but I didn't fool with that unless it was a chaser to kill the bad taste. If it made me lose any weight it was because it burned a hole in my stomach and I didn't feel like eating for a while.
Now I have it figured out. 1-3 Tbps of Braggs Vinegar, a shot of lemon juice and about 1/2 to 1 cup of diet Sprite / 7Up. It completed disguises the vinegar taste. About every article I've read said to rinse your mouth with water because the acid is bad for your teeth enamel. So I do.
I'm always on a diet, if you can call it a diet. I just try to eat right. And I'm about always working out a few times a week. So I have no idea if that vinegar is good for anything. I've just read enough good reputable sounding articles over the years to keep on. I have relatives that swear by it. They just can't swear what good it does them either.
I'm on the biggest, flattest, weight battle plateau ever. I'm 5'7" about 160. I've been about there, give or take, mostly give, for years. I've been shooting for 155 and just can't seem to get there.
So, there you have it.

I tried it for reflux and can't say if it works or not. I could not get past the taste - not good, even when doctored with lemon juice and honey. Will try again with the Sprite set up.

I fight reflux and indigestion regularly. Pretty sure it works to help fight it. I was taking it daily for a while but now generally only if I can tell my stomach is getting out of wack or on days when I eat crap like chili dogs and onions. Taste is no problem, I just shoot about a shot glass full.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

Just be careful of your teeth. Acids eat at the enamel so using cider everyday, especially several times a day, may lead to dental problems at some point. Just something to consider or ask your dentist about.
