Wild pigs? or Javis?
I like the Javis better than wild pigs... the meat is just like rabbit...
Wild pig aint bad either specially when you get a 200lb plus pig.. the tender loins in them are almost the size of a javi strap lol.. other than that ground meat it is
I had 2 javis made into ground meat last year...made chili, tacos, spaghetti, casa-roles etc everyone like it...

I like to take 1-2 hogs a year and have had great results with both boars and sows. As long as food is plentiful for the hogs and they are fat and the weather is cold, go for it. Here is a ham I smoked and pulled. Great for enchiladas, sandwiches, you name it. Also have done tenderloins stuffed with Jalapeños, Onion and Garlic. Wrap in bacon and season with Tony's. Grill until bacon is done and inside is well cooked. Cajun in Texas

Absolutely, wild hog is fantastic when prepared correctly, especially meat from younger/smaller animals. I'm originally from South America so your definition of "heebie jeebies" is probably much different than mine! As long as the animal is butchered properly, the meat handled correctly and the preparation in line with the meat's characteristics (i.e. much leaner than store-bought pork), eating wild hog meat can be a great experience.

Smoked, fried, sausage, grilled...my favorite is to kill a little one. About 50 lbs, and smoke it whole. I do try to avoid eating the big boars. They are just nasty smelling, and I kill so many pigs, I can afford to be picky about which ones I eat. If it is a big sow, I'll smoke the ribs too! Yum!

I really like the small ones that I can fit on the grill. Cover in Bacon and cook on low heat until it falls off the bone!

Cook them like you do any other white meat and you should not have to worry about getting anything.
The loins I cook just like I do pork loins. I pretty much grind everything else up and make brats since family and friends love them.

arent you scared of getting the hibbie geebies? Eat all of it like a Regular pig. No...not at all. Are you scared of the hibbie geebies from eating deer or elk or any other wild game animal? What's the difference? Keep the meat Clean, cold and process it like any other meat.

Buzz you should be more worried about getting the hibbie geebies from some of those blue haired honeys you run with.
