 Finally a good shoot

Decided to go south to the coast for the weekend with this north wind. It paid off. Went out at 2 and limited by 3:30. Picking pinnys drakes out of huge flocks. 7 blue wings, 4 sprigs and one redhead. School me on that kind of hunting.
On a different note. Congrats on getting on them. An afternoon on the coast with a ripping north wind is the best. It was blowing 30 plus, but the ducks were moving non stop

This guy was a freaking stud And one of my favorite shots I’ve ever got Nothing prettier than a bull sprig IMHO. I won a wood carving contest one time by carving one very similar to that bottom picture.

Nope I wasn’t able to make it down again this weekend. Had to work today and tomorrow I’m going to pull the skiff to the coast and try to catch some reds on fly. And one of my favorite shots I’ve ever got I gotta ask, what did you shoot the pic with? I shoot a Nikon d7200 with a 18-300 lens
